Susan de Freitas, Writer, Researcher, was born in Jamaica and immigrated to Canada at an early age. Susan was introduced to the arts while very young, through dance, and later culinary arts. Influenced by a cosmopolitan family, Susan was a constant in the exploding Toronto art scene of the 1990s. A successful chef for more than 20 years, she made her film Costume Designer debut with the whacky hyper stylized DEATH AND THE MYSTERIES OF RAISING POWERFUL CHILDREN. After finishing as wardrobe consultant on the Bell-FIBE action series BRAWLSTARS, Susan is currently on location in Kenya working on a feature film.
